MYSTIFIED becomes a TV series

Master Illusionist & Mystifier Shawn Anthony transcends traditional boundaries of magic and television and has created a new form of magical television entertainment that he calls "Mystified". Think David Copperfield Television specials, mixed with a rock and roll style, extreme street magic, death defying escapes and you'll have a good sense of what this show is all about.

In each episode Shawn will defy all natural laws and put his life on the line in a mix of magic and extreme escapes. from testing his limits in a three day buried alive stunt to performing modern miracles on the streets, Shawn will bring something new to each episode.

Each show will be packed with street magic, escapes and live performances of the Mystified stage show as well as performances by special guest magicians. To prove there are no camera tricks, Shawn will be performing all of these feats live in public places in front of real people, that’s right real people, no actors, no stooges just plain everyday people from all over the world.

Mystified will be shot on location around the world and within several cities within the United states. It will air Fall of 2011 in the Asian and European markets with a hopeful pickup for US distribution in the spring of 2012.

Get ready to be Mystified!

Master Illusionist Shawn Anthony & Female Escape Artist Jessica Felice to Rock Nashville April 26th

Nashville – There are very few female magicians in the world and even fewer female escape artists. On April 26th, Jessica Felice, one of the top female escape artists in the World will appear for one night only as part of Beyond Smoke & Mirrors at the Nashville Dinner Theater!

“Jessica Felice is one of maybe 3 professional female escape artists in the United States” said Beyond Smoke & Mirrors producer John B. Pyka. “She has also headlined Las Vegas, and that puts her in an even more elite class. We are proud to welcome her to Nashville and the Nashville Dinner Theater” added Pyka.

Jessica appears with Las Vegas illusionist and 2-time Houdini Award winner Shawn Anthony on April 26th. They will be filming segments for their upcoming TV series “Mystified”
as a part of Beyond Smoke & Mirrors at the Nashville Dinner Theater. While in Nashville Jessica will be attempting to break not one but three escape records set by the Master escape artist himself Harry Houdini. Never before has a female Escape artist ever attempted to do this impossible feat. Her escape attempts will include the 100 foot rope challenge, the federal mailbag escape, and the most difficult in the history of magic, the straight jacket escape.

Beyond Smoke & Mirrors is Nashville’s only weekly magic and variety revue and is presented every Tuesday night in the Randolph’s Showroom at the Nashville Dinner Theater. “It’s like Las Vegas in the heart of Nashville!” says John Pyka.

The Nashville Dinner Theater is located in the heart of Historic Printer’s Alley at 209 3rd. Ave., Nashville, TN., 37205. Tickets are $10 and can be reserved online at www.showclix.com.
